Required Experience and qualifications

Must Have

  • 4+ years of experience in software Quality Assurance, ideally for web applications

Founding CEO moves to Vice-Chairman role and current Ayuda President promoted to CEO

Ayuda Media Systems Inc. (Ayuda), a leading ERP & Business Optimization software company whose technology is used by of out-of-home (OOH) media companies globally to run their day-to-day operations, announced today at the Geopath / OAAA 2018 conference that it completed a change in Chief Executive Officers.

Andreas Soupliotis, Founding CEO since the company’s inception 15 years ago, will be moving to the role of Vice-Chairman of Ayuda, while the current President Luc Filiatreault has been promoted to CEO.Soupliotis will continue to advise the company on strategy from his board seat. He has been acting as CEO of two companies, Ayuda and Hivestack, since Hivestack’s inception as a separate, programmatic ad tech company. The change was initiated by Soupliotis himself to permit full-time dedication to Hivestack operations as its CEO while moving to a non-operational role at Ayuda.

Soupliotis commented on the change: “Luc has done a phenomenal job since he joined last year. During his initial short tenure as President, he has already transformed the business in many positive ways that have laid a foundation for spectacular growth. I have full faith in Luc’s ability to take Ayuda to new heights as I pass on my role as CEO to him.”

Filiatreault also commented on the change: “I am absolutely thrilled to accept this appointment as CEO. I joined Ayuda in September 2017. I have since become enamored with the company, the team and the DOOH industry altogether. We have incredible plans for continued growth, and I’m looking forward to activating and delivering on them. Athena Soupliotis

Director of Operations

Athena Soupliotis is the Director of Operations at Ayuda. She manages all logistical aspects of the day-to-day operations of the business. As the wearer of multiple hats, she acts as Ayuda’s office manager, financial controller, and also drives marketing and manages several aspects of public relations.

Athena is primarily responsible for “keeping Ayuda together” on a daily basis. Prior to Ayuda, Athena spent most of her career working for Avid Technologies, a software company specializing in digital content-creation. In this capacity, Athena assisted with technical documentation, and provided guidance on usability aspects of core products. Athena holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.

Out of the office, Athena can be found bird watching, or camping in the wilderness looking for black bears.

UK Director, EMEA

Christian is responsible for the implementation and support of Ayuda products within the EMEA region, providing outstanding customer service to Ayuda’s market leading clients. Christian joined Ayuda in 2012, having already worked in the Out of Home industry in for 10 years at JCDecaux, most recently in the role of Application Development Manager. Christian has a wealth of application development, project management and client service experience and expertise.

At JCDecaux, Christian was responsible for defining and delivering a new end-to-end application set, designed to manage all front office functions across the UK and enabling the decommission of multiple legacy systems. Christian managed the programme of projects, leading a multi-cultural team of project managers, business analysts and developers across the UK, France, Ireland and India, while also owning responsibility for maintaining relationships with all key stakeholders. While working at JCDecaux, Christian successfully completed his MBA (Project Management) at Henley Management College. Christian’s dissertation examined issues experienced by IT projects in global organisations.

Christian lives in London with his wife and daughter and loves sport. Christian is a member of Dulwich Runners AC and completed the 2012 Virgin London Marathon for charity. Recently Christian has taken up playing piano.

Her detailed & personable approach to client management has allowed Natalia to provide unparalleled end-to-end client services including release planning & management, user support, and new feature development.

Born in La Patagonia, Argentina of Colombian parents, Natalia has lived in several countries including Scotland, Mexico, Colombia, and Canada. Her exposure to various cultures makes Natalia uniquely qualified as a customer service manager. In her five years of experience in the software industry Natalia has worked as a Customer Service Team Lead and Senior Support Specialist for multi-national companies such as HP and Merck providing leadership and coaching on products, policies and procedures to teams of 20 – 25 Support Specialists.

Natalia moved to Montreal, Canada at the age of 18, where she completed her Bachelor of Science (Major Computer Science and Minor in Management) at McGill University and then went on to obtain a postgraduate certificate in Interactive Multimedia from Sheridan College in Ontario. During her studies, Natalia was honoured with the Award of Excellence for maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Natalia has a passion for technology, is fluent in multiple languages and enjoys latin dance.

Daniel is Ayuda’s Director of Sales and Business Development, in which he fulfills the roles of ensuring Ayuda’s growth through new business, deepening relationships with existing customers, identifying and executing new partnership strategies, and overseeing Ayuda’s marketing initiatives. Daniel is fervent about Ayuda’s potential as well as customer and partner success – giving him the singular quality of a sales leader who rallies for the customer’s best interest while concurrently embodying and realizing Ayuda’s short and long term goals. Daniel always makes sure that Ayuda’s interests and those of the client are aligned.

Daniel’s passion has always been to inspire others to succeed. Most recently before joining Ayuda, Daniel pursued this ideal in the digital signage industry as BroadSign’s Director of North American Sales, where he single handedly created and managed the company’s first ever distribution channel, in addition to closing business directly with large media networks such as Cineplex Media. In spearheading BroadSign’s partnerships, Daniel regularly led intensely motivating and educational seminars to galvanize partners such as Ingram Micro into consistently reaching new heights of success. In this way, Daniel transferred his passion and know-how for digital signage into strong customer growth for BroadSign.

In previous positions, Daniel held channel and direct sales roles in the Telecommunications and Information Technology Security industries, giving Daniel a strong background in highly complex technical sales of software, SaaS, and hardware. This understanding of intricate and technically distinct customer environments helps Daniel address Ayuda’s customers’ core business challenges, a necessity for Ayuda’s enterprise sales ecosystem. Daniel participates in out-of-home industry associations such as the Media Operations committee of the DPAA, and is a member of CODACAN.

Marc is a software architect with over 15 years of experience in the industry and one of the core members of the Ayuda team. His software development skills have been instrumental to the success of Ayuda’s line of products including the Splash digital player, Juice and BMS.net where he has made significant contributions across a wide range of features. Marc’s skills range from in-depth understanding of .NET development paradigms to Cloud Computing and data analytics technologies.

Marc holds a degree in Computer Science from the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu College. Marc is a devoted ball hockey player and a foosball expert. In his spare time, he likes to hiking in the Laurentian Mountains and hanging out with the friends.

Chief Technology Officer

Giovan is a software architect with 15 years of experience in the industry and one of the original members of the Ayuda team. His software development and architect skills have been critical to the success of the Ayuda Platform. Giovan has contributed to many aspects of the Ayuda Platform including BMS, Splash, Juice and many others. His experience with large scale, multi-tier, database-driven web applications were key to the success of moving the Ayuda Platform to the Cloud.

His passion for well architected and testable software lead him to become a test driven development evangelist at Ayuda. Between two check-ins, he enjoys a nice, competitive game of foosball and a cup of espresso. In his spare time, he enjoys soccer, reading and gaming.

Joe is the Vice-President of Client Services at Ayuda. As one of Ayuda’s initial founding team, Joe has managed all aspects of client services for the last five years – including customizations, professional services and support. Joe has the unique ability to straddle two traditionally disparate worlds: translating domain-specific complex customer requirements into software engineering deliverables. Thanks to the relationships that Joe has fostered and maintained with Ayuda’s clients,

Joe has ensured that the implementation of over 2,000 new features have met and exceeded customer expectations. Joe is an industry-acknowledged expert on the field of Business Intelligence (BI).

Possessing over ten years of experience working in the field of software and BI, Joe previously worked for Business Objects (now SAP) as a Senior Consultant in Silicon Valley. During his tenure of Business Objects, Joe managed the roll out of numerous, successful multi-million-dollar implementations of BI solutions to Fortune 500 companies such as GE, eBay, Verizon, Cisco and Ford. Joe twice-received the Business Objects MVP Award for Consulting Services and was also awarded the Customer Care Award for Professional Services. Prior to joining Business Objects, Joe worked as a Development Lead and Solution Architect for various BI software vendors in Silicon Valley.

His business intelligence expertise spans Data-Warehousing, ETL, Relational Reporting, H/M/ROLAP solutions and Ad-hoc query & reporting tools. Joe sits on many committees pertaining to out-of-home, such as the American Associations of Advertising Agencies’ “eBiz for Media” project, and is directly involved with the Traffic Audit Bureau’s “Eyes On” initiative.

A mathematician at heart, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Statistics & Computer Science from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. Joe enjoys playing ice hockey and soccer, reading Dr. Seuss books to his children, and has a profound interest in all things digital.

Luc Filiatreault is a veteran in the Software industry. He has a systematic track record of successfully growing tech businesses. He founded and led several tech companies (Nstein Technologies, PG Govern, Neuralitic) , completed two IPOs (Nurun, NordTech) , and is highly experienced at raising funds from VCs.

Filiatreault was formerly the CEO of three public and three private companies ranging from start-ups to $100M companies. He serves on numerous Board of Directors, Advisory committee and was Chairman of the Board of the Quebec chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation from 2010 to 2016. Filiatreault’ past honors include Canada’s Top 40 under 40 and Canadian IT Personality of the Year Award. He is fluent in many languages, and his favorite color is now orange.

Business Analyst

Software Implementation Manager

As a Software Implementation Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing enterprise-wide software solutions for Out-Of-Home Media clients in the Asia Pacific region (primarily Australia & New Zealand).
